The F1X52SSI is a programmable indicator designed for reading position from absolute encoders with an SSI output. The device is designed to work with the MAT2 encoder and the PA50/10 absolute magnetic tape offered by MORKOM, or other products with an SSI output.
The F1X52SSI can read position from an SSI absolute encoder with a resolution of 4 to 24 bits. In addition to position, it can also determine rotational speed and scale the counted pulse count to the desired unit (revolutions, degrees, etc.). It is also possible to count positions from multiple encoder revolutions.
Communication
The F1X52SSI is equipped with a MODBUS RTU interface, allowing communication with industrial devices (PLC, HMI). The device also has two relay outputs (optional) that can signal user-defined thresholds.
The F1X5-SSI is designed for absolute encoders using the SSI interface (RS422 standard): the system can be configured to support Gray or binary format with a selectable number of bytes from 4 to 24.
